With over 10 years of experience in Motion Design, Animation, and Video Production, Esther Du Motion has worked with top creative agencies worldwide. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Art in Salzburg, I moved to Edinburgh for a Master of Design in Motion Graphics. My career then took me to Spain as a Motion Designer, before returning to the UK in 2018.

For the past three years, I’ve been living and working remotely from a van, travelling across Europe and Morocco — a lifestyle that has shaped my perspective and allows me to collaborate flexibly with clients across different cultures and industries.

In recent years as a freelance Motion Designer, I have led projects from concept to completion, combining creative leadership with hands-on animation expertise. Coming from a music and fine arts background (I used to be a little Mozart in Salzburg, performing Vivaldi solos), I believe in strong concepts and an “analog first” approach. My multi-disciplinary perspective allows me to bring value to a project by exploring creative solutions from various angles.

Based in Austria, Esther Du Motion works with clients across Europe, the UK and the US. Since 2019, Esther Du Motion has been part of Bloc Collective, collaborating on larger projects with some of Scotland’s most talented filmmakers, editors, and motion designers.
